New Original Samsung OEM Black Stereo Headset Handsfree -- for Gravity 2Aug 21, 2011
By Jason S.
I own a Samsung Gravity 2 phone (orange).
The one I ordered was solid black with a double in-ear headphone. They are covered with soft plastic-- not that mushy cotton fabric that tends to rub off really easily. However, there is quite a bit of rope running around everywhere, so if you're going to be doing a lot of moving and traffic directing-- this might not be the best fit. It's the exact same one that came with the phone in the packaging!
They work extremely well, and are entirely compatible with my Gravity 2 Samsung phone. I haven't had any problems thus far. The input for this headset is that Samsung specific thin plug. When someone calls your cell phone, the headset is programmed to allow your phone to ring, and you press on the mouthpiece to answer the call.
I only use it for phone calls while driving and typing at the office, and it works well for that purpose. The volume is fully adjustable, and I can hear perfectly fine with the windows rolled down on a surface street.
I would recommend this product to a friend. It's nothin too fancy-- but it's cheap, effective, and gets the job done.

SAMSUNG STEREO HEAD SETApr 23, 2011
Was exactly what I figured it to be . I plugged it into my Solstice phone and it worked very good . My speaker phone on my phone isn't that good even though I have it turned up to the highest volume setting I still have a very hard time hearing so this will work even better for that also..The next thing I will probably want to order is a blue tooth so I won't have all of those wires hanging around my neck to be able to hear what someone is saying to me while on the phone it will be right there in my ear plugged in and will probably be a lot better than the ear buds.

Works !!!Jun 23, 2013
Accidentally stepped on my original headset so I had to buy a replacement. Bought a different product that did not works so I bought this
product is similar to the headphones that originally came with my phone. I've just received this product and it works like the original.
Low price, bad sound quality, but they do workSep 18, 2012
- It works.
- Mic and Call button
- Bare plastic earpieces slip out easily
- Asymmetric, so Mic/Button box weighs down left earpiece
- Thin wires leading to earpieces
- Subtle "shhhhhhhh" static sound in background (bad sound quality?)
I needed some way to connect earphones to my Samsung cell phone, and these earphones do the job. The integrated Call button and mic on the earphones were a bonus. Had I paid more than $2.50 + free shipping for these, I would think that the cons outweighed the pros, but for this price the quality is acceptable.
The sound quality is pretty bad. I don't know if it's the earphones or the phone (Samsung Omnia i910), but I can perceive a constant, low, background static sound. It's noticeable whenever there is no sound playing, and it gets mixed into the audio when you play sounds. After a few minutes you get used to it though.
The two wires leading up to each earpiece are very thin! They remind me of angel hair pasta in that they don't have any stiffness and tangle easily. It's almost like their natural state is a tangled one, and being untangled and straight is uncomfortable for them (I'm exaggerating just a bit, they're not really sentient). When handling the earphones, I'm always worried that I'll pull too hard on one of the earphone ends and pull out the wire because of the thinness.
The two earphone wires are different lengths. The "R" side is much longer than the very short "L" side, and they split off from the button/mic box. This means the short "L" side is always weighed down by the button/mic box which hangs somewhere around your shoulder/neck. This weight on the "L" side means the left earpiece falls out more easily. Not that it needs much help to fall out, because the earpieces are bare plastic, so they slide out of my ears easily.
All in all, this product somewhat solves my need for handsfree cellphone earphones. It cost me $2.50, so I can live with the cons. But, if you need these earphones to listen to music or watch videos, then spend an extra 3 dollars for something of better quality. Maybe this? Stereo Handsfree (014) (with Package) . Or you can get a 3.5mm jack adapter and use your existing earphones, like this Samsung R410 SCH-R410 SLASH M310 SPH-M310 T339 SGH-T339 OEM AAET503CBEBSTD / Audio 3.5mm Adapter or SAMSUNG 3.5MM ADAPTER ETERNITY BEHOLD BLACKJACK II 2 .
