Amazon offers this as a suggestion when you search for the LG 900g phone. This cable is NOT -- repeat -- NOT the correct cable for the LG900g. Amazon, fix this!

LG OEM part SGDY0010904 works prefectly as both a USB data cable AND a USB charging cable for LG GB230 Julia phones. I bought the GB230 from Amazon but, it did not include a data cable. The cable is required for PC-SW and phone firware upgrades. Also USB transfers media files and photos much faster than bluetooth.
Note, the part number is only indicated on the LG packaging (K10/KDS/SGDY0010904) and not on the cable. Mine came sealed in the labled LG package so I'm confinent above part number is correct. (FYI, the 18-pin micro-connector end uses only 5 pins.)

"A simple mind"
I purchased this cable so that I could grab pictures off my old phone with bitpim. Unfortunately this is not the correct cable. The correct cable has a USB to serial converter chip which is contained in a cylinder in the middle. This cable is only good for charging!

The product and delivery were excellent. A big negative for this dealer, A1 Accessories, was that the package was delivered with 51 cents due on postage. I paid $2.98 shipping and A1 paid $1 postage on the package which was 51 cents short which I am supposed to pay? What kind of deal is this?
Won't buy again from a company who can't compute necessary postage.

After finding the proper type of files for this phone (as all sites say there is none) this cable gave new modern life to my LG VU phone. Buy it and search for JAR files. Also insert your disc that came with your phone 1st. Worth he money.
